Campbellford

Today we did another 6 locks up 134’ and a total 22 miles. After the last locks (a double set) we tied up long enough to walk over to the Ranney Gorge suspension bridge over the Trent River. From there it was only a mile to Campbellford. The Dock wall here is managed by the chamber. Power, water, showers. A nice park adjacent. There’s another three boats tied up on this side… all loopers. We did docktail with them in the park tonight. More docking is available on the other side of the river and town stretches along both sides. After work this afternoon I took a stroll and discovered some ladies gearing up to do Zumba in the park gazebo so I joined in. So much fun. Today’s secchi was 1.7 in 4M.Read more
