Today we locked thru another six locks, going thru all but one with the same three boats…. On our way to the last lock we came across a young seagull in distress floating in the water. We circled back, rescued, removed a treble hook with lots of monofilament line and safely returned it back to the water. It’s been hot the last couple days. Yesterday hit 91 degrees ! Today was cloudy but still warm. We are now in Hastings on the lock wall. Right next to the boat is a pet store and LBCO (Canada liquor store). Across the street is a beer store and around the corner a small grocery store. So I got all the fixings for Spritz, James got beer, Moki got a new ball and Luna got treats.
