Easy day today with quick stop in Wilmington for the farmers market then slow cruise hopping a couple spoil islands to our final resting spot. Moki got to play with a nice Labradoodle named Goose onWeiterlesen
ReisenderWhen a large ship moves into a small area it displaces tons of water, the phenomenon is called “bank suction & bank compression” . It can pull ships from their docks and part the lines if the ship passing goes too fast. Quite dangerous for docked ships.
ReisenderCool! Definitely impressive. Only one gave a warning blow as it approached the spoil island. Several recreational boats anchored there.

ReisenderIt does look better and much easier on the dog. But he was licking and had it all wet so he’s back in the cone. He’s handling it well but a cone on a small boat is quite a challenge. We all will be glad when it’s off.
