Detaille Island

Detaille Island was the southern most point of our trip. We had hoped to travel slightly further, but the pack ice had moved in and rather than risk being stuck in the ice, the ship’s captain made the call to turn around at that point. We had, after all achieved the crossing of the Polar Circle.Les mer
