Abort!

The bugs up here are awful. Sleeping in the truck would have worked well but I didn't have a good enough cushion to lay on. Like that inflatable insulated ground roll I have in Richmond. D'oh. This morning the temp was in the low 50s, overcast, and there was a gusty wind. Perfect conditions for hiking and keeping bugs down. Then the drizzle started. I'm not high maintenance or anything but I've had enough. Hiking trip becomes road trip. I'm going to see what Caribou looks like, then drive through more of the North Maine Woods.Læs mere
