Lesvos with Molyvos

Another challenging crossing led us to Lesvos Island. 60nm with 5 to 6 Beaufort and 10hours continuing trip. The last 10mn were really tough. Very big waves from all directions and wind gusts that were reaching 7 Beaufort. The Port is very small and mainly occupied by couple of coast guard boats. The seabed is inconsistent thus our anchor was not holding very well. Water is for free but no electricity provided. If the port is full anchoring in the bay is possible and it seems to be well procted. The place has many tourists from Turkey since now they have their holiday period Eid al-Adha.Okumaya devam et
