Furnas aka "Stinky Town"

We already passed Furnas on our way from the airport to Faial da Terra. We instantly smelled the rotten eggs while passing Furnas :-) There are of yourse no warehouse of rotten eggs but lots of hot springs and geysers. We also tried corn, cooked in one of the geysers and drunk of the numerous different mineral water springs.Read more
