• Authentic African Cooking Class

    This weekend I joined a cooking class. To my surprise I was the only one who joined the class. Which was really nice because I was able to really connect with the family and cooked all the dishes by myself :) We had an great time chatting and cooking diverse dishes and appetizers.

    I tried several new things like Mopane worms or fried termites, which was strange to eat but the taste was actually ok. We also prepared two main dishes and the famous Pap that is servered to almost every meal. Pap is a kind of porridge made from maize meal and can be cooked to be soft or stiff.
