Meet the kids at BNC

Over the last weeks I've been visiting the BNC (The Bernhard Nordkamp Centre) to volunteer. It's a save place for kids to go to in the afternoon after school. It was very heartbraking to hear that those kids experience a lot of violence in their regular school and even at home.

Volunteers come to help the kids with reading, playing games or just talking to them and being a positive role model.

But the kids very quickly figured out what I'm good for :-D which is doing fun yoga, lifting them up into the air and spinning them around.Read more
