This will be our second night in Alex. We're staying at Molyneux Park - its right next door to the pool complex and it's free for NZMCA members for up to three nights. Great spot - we've stayed before. We drove over from Dunedin yesterday and spent a lazy afternoon reading then had a swim and a spa. Today the ladies went shopping and the blokes played a round of golf. We ended the day again with a swim and a spa.Read more

Longer drive today from Dunedin to Omakau. Some very long steep hills on this piece of road. The road is in good condition and there was very little traffic.
Not the best selection of places to stay. Camp ground was a recreation reserve and had some good reviews which it didn't meet.Read more
