Håkon’s Hall & Bergen Fortress

Håkon’s Hall was built in the mid 13th century as a royal residence and banquet hall. It was an impressive structure at the time, and along the fortress was strategically placed at the entrance of the Bergen harbor to remind incoming tradesmen who’s boss.
