The North Cape

The North Cape (71° N) is the northern most point of continental Europe that is easily accessible. There is a small peninsula next door that extends further 1.5km north, but getting there from land is no small feat so there are no organized visits.

Sailing here was a blast, and later that day we also saw the most amazing display of the Northern lights. Whereas they were not visible in color with the naked eye before (only as grey stripes), here they were. It was truly breathtaking.Læs mere
