Peter SchillerLast year on Camino we discovered that BEER is the ideal diet for a pilgrim: it is refreshing and light digestible. It gives you lot if water and energy. It has vitamins and minerals. And at last but not least alcohol as a pain killer. Unfortunately because of the lack of vitamin C you have to eat sometimes some fruits or salad as well. The best Spanish beer (as you can see) is Mahou.
