    On my way to Egypt. Of all my travels, this will be the most exotic.
    It’s a long way to go. The 8 hour flight was delayed for takeoff by hours due to the January 16 snowstorm.
    But tucked into my Polaris CC mass pod with entertainment and champagne, I can hardly complain.
    I’m fascinated by the accouterments of this class of air travel.
    Little things like the hook to hang a jacket, the ditti bag of toiletries, of course the seat that reclines to a flat bed.
    We’re about half way to Frankfort (am Mein) and most of the cabin is asleep. I need to rest too.
    A night flight reminds me of a night train. Moving fast through the dark. Starting in one country anticipating landing in a new country.
    Imagine. . . I’ll be in Germany, ever so briefly. I need to use my German, even if it’s just, Danika and Guten Morgan!
