We’ve only seen Cairo in the dark so far. Checking in late, then checking out early to fly to Luxor to join our river cruise.
The hotel is very nice in an old world, old school luxury, way.

A quick boat ride across to the West Bank of the Nile. The sun set in the west so that side of the river was for embalming and entombing kings, queens and nobles.

Well look at this. Their seating was ergonomically built in proportion to their height. How considerate. No dangling feet in this temple (and hence no ottomans) 😉
