A quick boat ride across to the West Bank of the Nile. The sun set in the west so that side of the river was for embalming and entombing kings, queens and nobles.
TravelerThese are some great pictures. Can you imagine having to carve those statues?! Everyone looks so tiny in comparison to the grand scale of everything else.
