    Lodging: Half-timbered House Bacharach

    July 11, 2022 in Germany ⋅ ⛅ 72 °F

    Modern design meets history.
The listed house is surrounded by vineyards in the Steeg district directly below the Stahleck castle.
This unique place has a style all its own: ecological materials such as clay and wood give the house a unique flair and an unbeatable indoor climate.
The half-timbered house, built in 1622, is modernly furnished. A wood and pellet stove ensures a special evening feel-good atmosphere.

The house consists of three bedrooms. Each one contains a double bed. This makes the accommodation very suitable for families or groups.
On the upper floor there is a bathroom with rain shower. The converted attic was opened upwards by a gallery. Due to the angled structure and the numerous wooden beams, there is always room for retreat.
The kitchen on the ground floor contains all the necessary utensils to prepare a dinner together after a hike through the Middle Rhine Valley. Regional products are offered for sale here by the host for a fee. In the immediate vicinity, however, you will also find a home-style restaurant.
