    Since we weren't with a formal tour group, we had to leave the Sistine Chapel, go back through the museums, then walk all around the wall. Once we were in St. Peter's Square, we had to wait in line to go back in to Vatican City again and all of the security. Italian efficiency, lol!

    Eowyn was in awe of the biggest church in the world in the smallest country in the world.

    The glass around the Pieta is being upgraded, so the statue isn't visible. In some ways, this replica that you could get up close to was kind of neat. You could see the holes in Jesus' hands.
