LA race track

When we got up this morning, Herbert had a flat tire again. So we left quite late from Evelyn's and Rob's house. Our route led through Palmdale, a city how you imagine it from the movies: long straight roads forming squares and named after letters and numbers, many shopping centers and fast food restaurants.
Once out of town, the up and downhills in the mountains started again and we climbed on Angeles Forest Highway and Upper Big Tuyunga Road. Here, we realized, this was the Los Angeles race track on weekends. Many fast motorcycles and cars on the road overtaking us in less than a second. Finding a lunch spot was difficult as there was almost no shade. But the German bread we found in the Tehachapi bakery yesterday kept our spirits high. Views were nice as well and we ended up on a great campground with sunset view 😊Leer más
