Hollywood feeling

We woke up by the sound of racing cars and motorbikes. Those guys are really early birds in order to be able to drive on empty roads... So we had an early start as well, continued on the "race track" with canyon and desert views. We stopped in Wrightwood for lunch, a cute little mountain village. I found Stiegl Radler in the supermarket and couldn't resist buying a couple 😉
After lunch, we had a steep downhill stretch on Long Pine Canyon Road and passed some interesting rock formations. At the bottom, you could see that we are close to LA: sooo much traffic. Plus, there was a road block on our road as they were filming a commercial (luckily only for some minutes). In the end, we reached our campspot at Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area.Læs mere
