Day 6 | Venice to Florence, Italy

Early morning train ride from Venice to Florence, Italy.
We sat with some Japanese people, who were traveling Europe, and they shared some champagne/wine and a toast with us.:)
We arrived at 11:15 AM and walked to our hotel, Hotel Lombardi.

Checked in the hotel early then Chris took a nap, cause Chris takes naps. ;)

Visit: Piazzale Michelangelo - a famous square with a magnificent panoramic view of Florence, Italy, and a popular tourist destination in the Oltrarno district of the city.

Visit: Ponte Vecchio - a Medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge over the Arno River, noted for still having shops built along it, as was once common.

Just walked around town for the evening. Went to Trip Advisor's 'best cannoli in Florence' suggestion...it was delicious. Small, but neat city.

Lunch: McDonald's (:-P)
Dinner: I'Pizzacchiere
Snacks: Carebe' Gelotaria
