Highlights of another successful day in Chobe NP: seeing game from both the land and the water.
April in BotswanaUp at 5.00 am this morning to make sure we were at the park entrance by 6.00 am. A great day of game-viewing resulted (a pity we are only allowed to upload 6 photos per entry). More lion very soon after we entered at Sedudu Gate. How lucky we have been!
April in BotswanaA 3-hour drive took us along the Chobe River bank to see all the game that came down to the water: and we returned to our Thebe River Lodge by about 10.00. A morning of relaxation, washing, swimming, etc. before lunch: and then we left mid-afternoon for a boat cruise. This turned out to be the favourite activity of the day as we saw hippo, crocodiles, elephant, kudu, fish eagles and other species. We all sat talking in the restaurant until we we were called to our camp dinner. It had been a long day and an early night followed.
