Where most of the people build bridges, Hamburg decided to build a tunnel back in 1907!
Impressive architecture under the river with car elevators. Definitely worth a visit. Especially since it is free ;)

Additional plus: on the other side of the tunnel you will have a great view on the skyline.Read more
