Dad sleeping and eating well but, still having a little 2nd day “jet lag”. Some work (conference) for me in the morning and then off for site seeing in the afternoon. An absolute mandatory pic-“Eiffel Tower”. My French colleagues and I at our booth at the World Nuclear Exhibition. After a few meetings, I snuck out to go hang with Dad. On Dad’s bucket list was some European history with the tomb of Napoleon at Invalides. Also strolled through the French military museum, Dad loved this, especially the suits of armor and weapons from the tenth-sixteenth centuries-pretty cool. Dad is really enjoying the cafe culture in France. We have been eating our meals at sidewalk cafes. He is amazed that people just sit there for hours, smoking cigarettes after ordering one stupid cup of coffee.
