American Cemetery at Omaha Beach. Dad really enjoyed visiting Omaha Beach. Reminiscing about people who he knew from his childhood who died during WWll. Next was Pointe du Hoc-the location where the Army Rangers scaled a 90ft cliff on D-Day. The Ranger Monument and Dad overlooking the cliff where the Rangers attacked. Less popular with Dad was the Bayeux Tapestry. He is not into William the Conqueror and medieval history. Tomorrow is Sainte-Mere-Eglise and Juno Beach.Leer más
