Musée de l'Arles et de la Provence antiq

That's some name! This is a sleek, modern museum housing many archaeological artifacts found in the local region. We liked the simple layout and that the displays were all from the local area. While there wasn't a lot of English provided, what there was generally covered as much as we wanted. We also liked the fact that you could follow along a single progression and work your way through in between one and two hours depending on how thorough you were.

I did particularly like the mosaics on display. I just can't imagine the patience required to put these back together again.Read more
