LaPaz, the highest city in the world

We drove from Copacabana to Lapaz today. That was quite an adventure after navigating through insane traffic we needed to descend from 4,000m altitude to 3,300. Google maps screwed up and after an insane steep decline we needed to return. The engine didnt have enough power and after trying to push we found a guy who pulled Pietertje up to a road which finally allowed us to descend. Now we are at a ecolodge/camping. The french family that I met drove with me and its very "gezellig", the three kids are adorable, and they love Pietertje.Read more
