    So when we travel, we sometimes forget the day of the week etc. but Les told Jill that last weekend was Labor Day…she believed him, and but wondered why it was so easy to find campsites. All of a sudden we realized this coming weekend is Labor Day…spent this morning trying to find a reservation for the coming days. While Jill located our next couple camps, Les found a bike “route,” write up. We left Indy and headed to Elk River Road. No Bike route signs, no share the road signs. Jill decided it was too busy road so we drove the road which narrowed and roughened, but still paved. We should have stopped, and biked but we now wanted to see where it went. 18 miles and we stopped at Butler’s Campground, old fashioned Forest Service Camp. Fun but no biking.Read more
