I set phone bitch for Halliburton. I wanted to check out the sculpture forest. Such a lovely drive along winding roads beside the lakes. It reminded me of all those fishing trips with dad as a kid. Getting there was half the adventure.

A white tail deer was standing at the edge of the park when we arrived. After a bit, she ran right by us, to join up with her herd just inside the forest. I could just pick out the antlers and an occasional tail as they wandered away.

We hung out there for a couple of hours, but didn't really explore much. A gravel trail would have put me on foot with too many birds to carry around. We hung out in the van in the shade, had lunch, and continued on our way.
