Went during prayer time on a Friday. All was closed as expected. This part of town is also called Old Jeddah. It has so much charm. The woodwork on the windows, the balconies and the overall architectural aspect of it is just gorgeous. Being closed gave me the opportunity to see it peacefully and take pictures without anyone in the frame. Such a rare occasion. As soon as 4pm hit, the place became crowded, vibrant and full of life. Finishes the day by the corniche to see the sunset, but failed to do so, as there was way too much traffic. So ended up at the red sea mall running some errands and having dinner at the best Chinese restaurant in town.Read more
