Gartness honesty lunch

We had lunch at the Beech House in the mini-town of Dumgoyne… Not too interesting, but the only place to eat in this wide spot in the road. I got the Haddock and chips…. Then on our way again.
About 8 miles out, we went through the small cluster of houses called Gartness. There was a self-serve ice cream freezer. It was unmanned. You took out the ice cream bar of your choice and left a pound in the small plastic box sitting next to the freezer.Read more
