Our 24 Hour Journey

Today we got up at 1:30 AM to finish packing before our 5:00 AM pick up to the Budapest airport. Unfortunately there was no one arround to help with our bags so we hooked everything together and got our 8 bags to the lobby. We arrived before the British Air personnal and no one could tell us where to line up. Finally Rose found someone from a local Hungarian airline who spoke English and pointed us in the right direction. The British Air 2.5 hour flight was seemless in Business Class with a full English breakfast.
The big surprise was at Heathrow Airport where we had a 5 hour layover. Having had terrible experiences at this airport before we were dreading the experience. We were wrong! Between the Business Class fast track system and a new security system we breezed right through to the the Admirals Club.Read more
