Our 24 Hour Journey Continued

We boarded our plane on time although we had major issues with the terrible seating on board: Our "pods" faced backwards and had a screen between us (that could not be lowered) so we had to peek over standing up just to talk. Luckily the food and wine were great and we managed to sleep for about 4-5 hours arriving just about on time in New York. We immediately went to the Global Entry kiosk and even as newbees completed the process quickly. Our driver was waiting and it was only an hour to our daughters house in Ct. We were exhausted but seeing our children and grandchildren gave us a second wind....for a while. This part of our journey was over. From here we go to Seattle to visit our other kids and then finally home.Leggi altro
