Sydney is the only city on the island of Nova Scotia. We were welcomed into the port by “The Big Ceilidh Fiddle” which was created to recognize the pre-eminence of fiddle music. This music is a major part of the Scottish and Irish heritage of Cape Breton.
Our walking tour was through the colonial part of Sydney. Our guide was dressed in a period costume and took us to some of the oldest remaining homes and churches. We were told stories about these furnished restored homes by volunteers also in costume.Okumaya devam et
