Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Today we visited Prince Edward Island (PEI) which is the smallest Canadian province. We docked in Charlottetown, which is the birthplace of modern Canada. It is PEI’s oldest and largest city.
We spoke to the local representative on board, got a map and were on our way. We walked through historic Charlottetown following the “Fathers of Confederation” route (a painted line on the sidewalk). We viewed wonderful examples of Victorian architecture, quaint boutiques and Province House (the provincial legislature since 1847).Lue lisää
