Anstatt dem bekannten Merkspruch Elbe-Oder-Neisse heisst es heute mal Dresden-Oder-Meissen. Und die Antwort ist: Meissen. Die Stadt ist bekannt für ihr prunkvolles Porzellan und den nicht weniger prunkvollen Burgberg. Die Albrechtsburg schmückt sich sogar mit dem Titel "Ältestes Schloss Deutschlands". Und dieses Schloss hat dann auch schon einiges erlebt. Da in Meissen der erste Porzellan Europas entwickelt wurde, und die Herstellungsmethode geheim bleiben sollte, wurde die Burg kurzerhand als Manufaktur genutzt. Erst etwa 150 Jahre später wurde die Herstellung in eine Fabrik in der Stadt umgesiedelt, wo man sie bis heure besuchen kann.
