Muss man Jena gesehen haben? - Nein. Sollte man sich trotzdem überlegen die Stadt zu besuchen? - Auch nein.
Eigentlich bin ich nur hergefahren, um bei einer Stadtführung etwas über den Ort zu erfahren, an dem sich Goethe und Schiller kennengelernt haben. Die Führung war allerdings bereits voll, und findet offenbar nur alle zwei Tage statt. Was mich mit der Frage alleine lässt: Wer hat diesen hässlichen Turm im Stadtzentrum verbrochen?
Aber, da man ja immer mit einer positiven Note enden sollte: Immerhin ist es mit dem Zug nur 15 Minuten weiter nach Weimar.

Is Jena a must-see? - No. Should you still consider visiting the city? - Also no.
I actually only travelled here to find out about the place where Goethe and Schiller met. However, the tour, I planed to attend, was already full and apparently only takes place every two days. Which leaves me with the question: Who built this ugly tower in the city centre?
But, as you should always end on a positive note: After all, it's only 15 minutes by train to Weimar.Læs mere
