Day 31

Off to an early start this morning about 200kms of dirt to do heading for Muttaburra, the road was pretty good overall mostly single lane ran into the road crews part way down got a bit messy where they had been watering the track. Stopped for a cuppa about 1/2 halfway not much out here pretty hard country lots of stone, got into Muttaburra about 11:30 averaged about 80km/h, staying at the council van park nice and clean and pretty busy. Went on the tourist drive this arvo out to the old and current cemetery, the old hospital, the union camp for the striking shearers in the 1890's, the union hole where they got the water out of by horse and dray, the Muttaburrasaurus dinosaur display centre and the Broadwater hole on the Thomson river, swimming and camp spots.
