BTPA Omeo Event

It cooled down well overnight, out of bed at 6:30 and the girls got the horses saddled up ready for 8:30 Start, was a windy day from the north, which worked well to blow some of the dust away, the cattle were good and all teams managed to Penn and the girls got all 3 penned in a good time in both runs and are looking good for a ribbon, had a quick lunch break and then resumed with ranch sorting, the girls put all 10 through in order in a good time and was in the lead till our second team of Leigh, Bron, Kristy had a good run with a better time. Finished up around 4:30, unsaddled and grabbed a few drinks and headed over for presentation, was a good day with the girls taking out second in both penning and sorting and Bron, Kristy, Leigh took out first place in the sorting, very well done to all our teams.
Back to camp for tea and drinks, then over to the pub for a drink and a chat, we continued on at camp with some tunes and bevies, into bed around 11.Læs mere
