Buchan Team Penning

Woke up this morning to a great day, sun out no wind fired up the Webber and cooked bacon and egg muffins for breakfast. Had a good night around the fire last night chatting to lots of people, Teresa’s name got drawn out of the raffle tub and she picked out a meat voucher, happy days and I had a go in the auction for a hand painted cross cut saw and had the winning bid at $130 with the proceeds going back to the Buchan Rodeo club.
Team penning got off to 9 o’clock start and got through the 63 teams by 2 o’clock in the afternoon, Teresa and Holly did some great work in there runs but ran out of time in both, stayed for the presentation to see who won and then we loaded up the horses and headed home.
Great weekend of camping and horse eventing, typical Buchan weather great Friday, absolute freezing cold Saturday, and then a great day today, lucky we took a good load of fire wood we didn’t bring much home.
