Arrived here by train, none less than the Majestic Imperator. The town of Mozart's birthplace. Originally a salt mining town. Also the home of the von Trapp family of Sound of Music fame. Very quaint.Read more

Mozart's second house where he lived another 7 years. Many more pieces written while here no doubt. He left here for Vienna at 27 and wasn't seen again in Salzberg, then died when only 35.
