Lelepa Island village

Stopped here to see the locals. About 400 people live here. No fresh water no power ... but the whole range of ages and people. Some handicrafts for sale but we have too much stuff already 🙁 so just left donation. The children presented some beautiful songs aand we learned a little of the locals' story. They are a mix of people from other islands displaced due to cyclones and such. Seemed very happy and content even though fresh water means daily trips to the mainland.Read more
