Mele Cascades Waterfall

A wee walk along a bush path through a couple water crossings and we arrived at the waterfall and pool. In for a swim beautiful clear water could see the bottom but barely touch it. Found the caveЧитать далее

Enjoyed an evening show and feast here. Started with a Kava ceremony...numb down the lips and mouth for what's to come! Then a nice meal with tasty meats cooked in the ground...

Took a harbour cruise to view the sunset n what a spectacular show. terrific service wine nibbles what more could one want?
Snorkeling at Lelepa

part of the day was fishing n snorkeling around the waters of the bay. would be awesome to have water as clear n clean back home.
Loading boats to Lelepa Island

Had a 30 min wait here while extra fuel was driven to us for the boats. Very picturesque. Nice how they made sure their boats were colour matched to Sheila's dress😎
Lelepa Island

Spent a day on Lelepa Is hosted by the charming inhabitants. Landed on the same beach all the "Survivor" challenges were filmed on. Went fishing a couple hours. Lunch bbq on another beach. Explored aЧитать далее
Lelepa Island village

Stopped here to see the locals. About 400 people live here. No fresh water no power ... but the whole range of ages and people. Some handicrafts for sale but we have too much stuff already 🙁 soЧитать далее

Been a few years back since we actually saw a new year in! Just had to this year seeing as 2018 is going to be a cracker!
Coffee Chocolate what more can one want

Our private tour guide Jack took us to the only coffee production plant on the island as well as the 1 chocolate factory. after a very full day i finally managed to catch my sweetheart relaxing.
Blue Lagoon

Nice lagoon partly fresh partly sea water. Took a refreshing dip here ...
Turtle Feeding

Visited a park with sea turtles and hand fed them. Big Mama us 260 yrs old abd still makes babies! Tiny babies 2 "litters" (?) 6 weeks and 11 months being reared in tanks. Included a bbq lunch.Читать далее
Coconut Crab

Huge land crabs that feed on coconuts. Saw these at the same place as turtles. These ones about 20cm across...a guide told us a large one caught recently was over 8kg! First saw them on one of theЧитать далее

Very scenic waterfall cascade with great swimming hole.
