A long trip for lunch!

After brekkie we caught the "clockwise" bus and travelled an hour and about 25km to see Maire Nui gardens which was just 5km in the anti clockwise direction ... ah, island time! Gardens lush but in need of a lot of care .. the cafe we thought would be nice for lunch was closed so we walked another 3km anti clockwise to a cafe...! Then missed the next bus by 2 mins as we finished lunch and waited an hour for the next one. All up 5 hrs out and about for an average lunch ... but hey, we're on holiday - who cares?Leggi altro
