Queued 3 hrs to see the house then an hour looking through. The saddest and yet one of the most inspiring stories from WWII. No pics allowed inside.

This our first view of the queue...erk! After 2hrs we were at the door to go in when suddenly 8 police arrive and we are told there will be a delay. 1hr later they leave with a backpack left in the house by someone ... suspicious package no doubt. Made the wait in 32C heat that much worse...

A Fun Park .. took a tour which was OK. Just. A good example of what Singapore has to offer but geared to those with kids under 12 yo in tow really. Nice but didn't need the guide ☺

Pretty incredible indoor garden, showcasing plants found high up in cloud forests. Many are epiphytes like orchids. A huge dome maintains 22C just using water (mainly that waterfall in the pic) andもっと詳しく

wow - chinatown vendors closed up for the night no worries about theft or loss of equipment - just tarps to cover up the stalls. wouldnt it be nice to live in a society free of crime!
