Started trail at 0515 and climbed 540 m to the base of the pass, viewing the 10 Peaks up close! Wow! However at the pass I noticed there had been a large rockslide which had wiped out part of the pass trail! I hiked up the first switchback for a different angle and a bit closer and confirmed it was a washout. Definitely not safe unless you were Spiderman. I reported to the cansda Parks folks with photos. So headed back down for a shortened hike but a challenging one nonetheless.Read more
