The World's End and Tonsberg

A day exploring the local area with Tone. Headed first to The World's End (!) for a blast of windy sunshine. There is even a restaurant with the most wonderful view. Hmmm an unexpected reference to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy 🌌

Then onto the city of Tonsberg to the art gallery - for an exhibition of wooden decking that mostly looked like euro pallets with remnants of paint... I was very happy! 🎨

By which time lunch was more than needed - most generous and tasty chicken salad with fried potatoes at the side of the harbour 🛶⛵🚤

At this oldest and first site of the Vikings it was good to see a replica Viking boat, which had been used in York, UK for many years 😄Read more
