D 37- Portomarin to Palas de Rei 24.3 km

Longer walk today with a long steady incline. The rain stayed away until noon then was on and off until we reached Palas de Rei. We walked a little on designated paths beside the road today but most of the walk was away from roads and when we did walk along beside the road there was minimal traffic. Lots of farm communities with sheep, horses, different varieties of cows, beautiful veggie gardens and fields of corn. We are staying in the Albergue a Casina Di Marcello and having the Italian perigrinos meal tonight.Read more
