Curacao !

Long stay. Still in port as I make this entry. We arrived at 1 and will leave at 11 tonight, bound for Aruba. We went in to Willemstad around 3, did some twakking. John and I stayed behind, skipped supper. Beautiful island, reminds us of Bermuda. Very hot, but a strong breeze made it more comfortable, especially in the shade.

John and I got back around 6:30, seemed like broad daylight - when I looked out the window around 7:30 or so, it was nearly pitch black. Sun goes down soooo early! We can see a very noticeable difference in time of sunset add we go further south.

Probably gonna pop in to port for a quick night visit before sailing away. Would love to see some lights from South America tonight if possible.En savoir plus
