Last day here. Opted for late checkout due to late flight so weve just been taking it easy and looking around. Walked to Arab Street for some more silk and on the way we came across the magnificent Frank Lloyd Wright-style Parkview Square building. It's enormous and absolutely stunning - copper statues of world leaders, musicians, writers (incl Lincoln, Churchill, Sun Yat Sen, Chopin, Dante) stand over waterfalls and the building is made of marble and granite. Saw the Sultan Mosque near Arab Street - looks imposing in amongst the shops and shophouses.
Our last hurrah and ttreat to ourselves was high tea in the lobby lounge of the hotel - the tiramisu and panna cotta were to die for and everything else was almost as good!! Thanks for a great experience InterContinental Hotel.Okumaya devam et
